The Canadian Mining Certification Program:

The Canadian Mining Certification Program (CMCP) is the first – and only – national mining certification program of its kind in Canada. It is the industry-standard for validating the skills, knowledge, and experience of workers in the mining sector. The CMCP allows individual mine workers to demonstrate their expertise by meeting the National Occupational Standards established for the Canadian mining industry.

The Canadian Mining Training Recognition Program:

The goal of the Canadian Mining Training Recognition Program (CMTRP) is to recognize mine training programs delivered by employers, educational institutions and training organizations that align to MiHR’s National Occupational Training Standards (NOTS).
